Section 4.5.2 & 4.5.3 of SP/10 Certificate issue, suspension and withdrawal
The following reasons are considered grounds for suspension or cancellation:
4.5.3 Suspension or cancellation of certification may be initiated if the client does not permit routine surveillance to be conducted at the required frequency. Routine surveillance is conducted no more than 12 months after the last audit. If the audit is not completed within 12 months (13 months for annual surveillance), the certificate will be suspended, and a letter will be sent to the client requesting agreement to conduct the audit.
In case of a delay of up to 3 months (15 months from the last audit), the audit period will be extended by 50% of the routine surveillance interval (at least 1 day). Successful completion of the audit within the 15-month period will not affect the certification.
If the audit is not conducted within 15 months, the certificate will be cancelled, and the client will be treated as a new case for certification.
These conditions are applicable in exceptional situations, such as strikes, natural disasters, or unique business operations, evaluated individually as needed.
